I'm awful at giving directions, my brain just freezes... This one guy to whom I gave directions ended up being captured and beheaded by the Taliban...

I once gave a Spanish tourist lady directions - really good directions, very accurate, very consise, with landmarks and everything. I was so pleased with myself, until I realised a few minutes later that, at the very first turning, I got my left and my right mixed up, and sent her entirely the wrong way...
